Noctis Alari - An Elite Aion Legion
Feb 20, 2010 - Noctis Alari continues to build its focused, elite legion. We are selectively recruiting to round out our high level core member groups.
We are looking for the experienced gamer who has a mature attitude, wants to have fun, reach goals, play hard. If you have a high level character on Lumiel, are looking for a tight knit legion, find yourself dissatisfied with your current legion, feeling lost in the crowd and under-appreciated, or find yourself logging into a ghost legion, we are interested in you.
The minimum requirements are as follows:
- Playtime minimum 30 hours a week
- Major portion of playtime during evening EST zone hours (7pm - 11pm mon - fri and at least one long stretch on a sat or sun)
- Ventrilo Installed with working mic
- If you are ONLINE then you must be in Ventrilo
- Core Member Path requires minimum level 45 (please check this thread for classes and updated level requirements)
We are currently building a 3rd lvl 50 group and will consider all classes who are lvl 50 who make an application.

New Year, New Resolutions
Noctis Alari - An Elite Aion Legion
Jan 2, 2010 - Noctis Alari is welcoming in the New Year with renewed commitments to our original goals in Aion and that is to become one of the best Legions on the Server. If one is to become the best, then unification is mandatory and player commitment vital.
We have "cleaned house". Inactive members, members who apparently abandoned the game, and those whose play styles were in opposing factions to our goals have been dismissed from our ranks. As a result, we are leaner and meaner. The remaining players are our core members dedicated to success in Aion wearing the Noctis Alari tag.
We call ourselves "Elite" because we are the few, the Vets, the Aion players with a mature attitude who are outstanding players and skilled technicians in their Main Class. Noctis Alari will not need bulk numbers to succeed and each member is a vital member of this Legion whose contributions will ensure our success. Becoming a member is a journey, starting with your forum Application and Letter of Introduction. Included in your application will be a Ventrilo interview and mandatory groupings with the Core Members that include the Legion Leader and Officers.
In addition to the formalities, an applicant needs to become familiar with our Governance and Core Values. If you are reading this article, perhaps you are interested in applying. In brief we require a minimum of the following to start the process:
- Playtime minimum 30 hours a week
- Major portion of playtime during evening EST zone hours (7pm - 11pm mon - fri and at least one long stretch on a sat or sun)
- Ventrilo Installed with working mic
- If you are ONLINE then you must be in Ventrilo
- Core Member Path requires minimum level 40
We are not interested in folks who are casual players, have short attention spans, or have little experience in mmo games. Please do not apply if you can not play while being logged into Vent.

Noctis Alari Introduces
NEW Friends & Family Membership Path
Nov 20, 2009 - Noctis Alari today announces a restructuring of its Ranks and Titles by introducing its NEW Friends & Family Membership Path. Now, the potential recruit will have some choices when he applies for Membership in the Noctis Alari Legion.

Core Member Path Definition:
Following the membership path to becoming a Core Member of Noctis Alari means you are committed to being a dedicated, full time member of the Legion. Core Members share our vision of becoming one of the best Legions on the server while providing a fun-filled family atmosphere for the mature gamer. The qualifications to join are more stringent and controlled, but Core Members will also enjoy perks and bonuses as the Legion grows in prosperity, noteriety, and fame. Core members also can climb the ranks in the Legion and may even be appointted an Officer's position.
Friends & Family Path Definition: (NEW)
Following the membership path as a Friends & Family member means you are committed to being a dedicated member but have real life restrictions that prevent you from applying as a Core Member. We realize that our Core Members have friends and family they would like to game with, but these same folks often can not meet our Core Membership requirements. To encourage our Friends and Family to continue gaming with our Core Members we offer this path. Some qualifiying and membership requirements in this situation are waved (see chart). However, to be inducted into the Legion as a member of Friends & Family, you must be sponsored by a Core Member who is in good standing with the Legion. As long as your sponsor remains in the Legion, you also can remain. Should your sponsor leave the Legion, you will need permission to remain, find a new sponsor, or apply as a core member.

If you are considering joining Noctis Alari, now is the time to try us out. Once this event ends, we are returning to our lengthy application process and will include a minimum level to join (to be announced)...

Oct 31, 2009 - Noctis Alari is opening its doors to recruiting all players and relaxing our application process to join. We are doing this to attract the solo players, new players, and players who just want to try a legion out. There are three different ways you can join Noctis Alari:
How To Join
1. /whisper Merkabah, Zaba, Starblessing, Safara, Vardamir, Shyla or Chyann and ask to be recruited

3. Register on our forums and post HERE that you want to be recruited
Simple Qualifications
During our Open House Recruiting Event we are suspending our stringent qualifications to join and relaxing our requirements. There are only 4 things we are looking for:
1. Minimum age of 21
2. PG chatting in open Legion/Vent channels
3. Ventrilo installed and available for grouping events
4. Mature attitude
How Your Recruit Membership Works
As a Recruit during our Open House Recruiting Event, you will be on a trial membership for 2 weeks. During this time you will enjoy all the benefits of being in a legion:
1. Enjoy a friendly community to help you advance in the game
2. Play with experienced Aion gamers
3. Access to our Ventrilo server for easy communications
4. Help with quests or leveling whenever possible
5. Limited access to our Private Member Forums
Once your trial period is up or prior to 2 weeks, you can decide if you would like to stay in the legion or not:
1. If you want to stay, you simply complete registering on our forums and request a promotion to our next rank up. The Legion then reviews your requests and decides whether to grant your request or deny it.
2. If you decide the Legion is not for you, then just let us know and we part on good terms.
Limited Time Offer
The Open House Recruiting Event is a limited time offer and can be withdrawn at any time. Membership applications will then revert back to our normal lengthy process and stringent qualifications.

You will be evaluated for your membership application based on the following:
- You consider yourself to be a mature, adult, older gamer who is passionate about PvPvE and is focused on excellence in game play
- Ventrilo installed, working, and mic hookup
- Must have avidly played EQ1, DAoC, or other similar MMO prior to 2000 OR convince us your recent experience is equal to that of a vet gamer
- Be 25+ years of age OR convince us that your maturity level is comparable to that of an older gamer
- Completed our online application and submitted an introduction on our forums
- Can play 25-30 hours a week, with the bulk of that play time in the EST evening hours
- Refrains from leet speech and can communicate in proper English
- Enjoys casual role playing and OR respects those who do. Role playing is not however, required. We have included role playing as an aside, since we are playing on a designated role playing server, Lumiel.

Merkabah eyed the filthy rags and disheveled creature before her with keen curiosity. Something about the demeanor, the mannerisms, the complete lack of fear in the eyes — was compelling. The Legion Leader was reminded of a familiar and long lost comrade.
"I may be able to take you in, but your outward appearance is rather repulsive. We are the revered Noctis Alari, the Winged Night Army of Darkness. I will not have my Army looking like poor, pale-face Elyos peasants!"
The creature spat in his hands and rubbed them vigorously together, swiping them across his filthy face and tossing his head back to sweep the hair from his forehead. The gesture revealed two golden eyes and a pale blue complexion. Hmm... yes, he would melt into the night easily.
"General, I've searched the Abyss and all of Ateria for Noctis Alari. Days have mounted to weeks and months and years of an endless journey wrought with terror and hate. When at last I stumbled on a parchment from the library of Pandemonium, I knew at least to bribe the tavern keeper as to your whereabouts in Altgard. You can not deny me application now!"
Merkabah stared deeply into the Asmodian's eyes. At long last a great sigh was expelled...
"If you can prove your worth to me Soldier I may take you in. Make haste and APPLY, but be assured, your application will be tested in every way! Do not leave out any details, else I shall banish it from the Halls!
Hurry, be off with you and tarry no longer!"
